Join us for a night of innovative ideas, exciting inventions and awesome prizes!

AutoHack is a unique, extended-form hackathon focused on automation. The event is hosted by the University of Melbourne's Networked Society Institute and run in collaboration with Ciena and nbn.

AutoHack18 kicked off on 1 December 2017 and this event is the Grand Final, two months later, on 1 February 2018. In that time, our Hackers have not only refined their pitch but built a demo or prototype of their idea utilising the Blue Planet platform by Ciena and nbn within the NSI Labs.

The winning team will be the project that best demonstrates the following:

  • Benefit and Social Impact
  • Automation Innovation
  • Novelty of use of Blue Planet
  • Potential to leverage the nbn
  • Viability & commercial potential

You will also have the opportunity to vote for the best project to receive the people's choice award.

This is a free event but registration is essential due to limited seating.
